Why wouldn’t you want to start an exciting career in the travel industry, when you can have fun every day, learning about amazing destinations and what the world has to offer?Travel Consultant Job Responsibilities:Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, and weatherInteracts with clients to determine travel needs, budgets and preferences.Coordinates transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours and activities.Books travel arrangements and collects applicable fees.Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancelations, and refunds.Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour vendors.Attends travel seminars and conferences.Conducts research on destinations and industry trends.You must have a computer, laptop, tablet, or smart phone and reliable internet service.Work Hours and BenefitsAs a travel agent who works remotely, you are able to put travel packages together from the comfort of your own home.
