Estimator For Commercial Roofing Projects

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to support preconstruction efforts for commercial roofing projects in the greater Philadelphia market. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of roofing systems, and the ability to deliver accurate cost estimates that support competitive proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to prepare detailed and accurate estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs and analyze labor, material, and subcontractor costs
• Solicit and qualify subcontractor and supplier bids for inclusion in estimates
• Prepare proposals and budgets for commercial roofing projects ranging from repairs to full replacements
• Collaborate with project managers and sales staff to ensure estimates align with client needs and company capabilities

Requirements

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial roofing or a related construction field
• Strong knowledge of low-slope roofing systems; familiarity with additional roofing systems a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; estimating software experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
