Look no further because we are currently seeking a PER DIEM Security Officers to join our growing USI team in Weehawken, New Jersey!
Security Officer Job Responsibilities: - Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
- Drives at the required speeds permitted to allow close observation and safety of residences, facilities, and parking lots
- Investigates & reports security breaches, open doors, incidents, and other alarming or suspicious activity to the shift supervisor.
- Enforces all rules and regulations required to ensure a safe environment.
- Tickets and facilitates towing of illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the property's parking rules and regulations.
- Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
Opportunities to move into full-time positions within 3-6 months! (Based on availability, performance, attendance, etc.)
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills - Minimum of 2 year's security experience required.
- Minimum of 2 year vehicle patrol experience required.
- Flexible Schedule- Ability to pick up shifts as needed, especially night and weekends
- Must be able to drive/patrol/ use electric bike for up to 8 hours.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.
- Ability to work inside and outside of designated community, with possible exposure to inclement weather conditions.
Education and Experience Requirements - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Active NJ SORA Security License
- Active TWIC License
- Active Driver's License + Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- CPR / AED Certification required
