Lead role in Deal Execution: Work closely with clients and execution teams on live transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, divestitures, and capital raisings Client Relationship Management: Produce and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team alongside senior bankers Strategic Analysis: Through financial, structural, and business risk analysis, support transactions and client presentations New Business Development: Actively participate in the effort to pitch and win new mandates from clients, leverage proprietary content and generate value-additive ideas Team Management and Development: Manage analysts to execute deliverables for clients and support the training and mentoring of junior professionals Requirements 4+ years of experience in healthcare investment banking, with at least 2 years of healthcare investment banking experience as an associate from a reputable investment bank preferred Knowledge of the healthcare industry and landscape, especially for biopharma industry Experience in sell-side and buy-side healthcare M&A execution Strong financial modelling skills Outstanding academic qualifications, strong GPA Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently SIE, Series 79 and 63 required Nomura Leadership Behaviors Explore Insights & Vision Making Strategic Decisions Inspire Entrepreneurship in People Elevate Organizational Capability Inclusion *base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
