Benefits
Responsibilities
● Drafting trust and estate documents tailored to clients needs and goals
● Hosting consultations and client meetings in-person and remotely to execute signatures, answer questions, and conduct business succession planning
● Working alongside financial advisors to ensure plans are in place for clients
● Drafting, reviewing and executing complex estate and business planning documents such as buy/sell agreements, life insurance trusts, GST Trusts, and charitable remainder trusts
● Field client phone calls and succinctly explain complex concepts
Requirements
● JD Degree and admitted in NJ
● 3+ years of Trusts and Estates experience
● Experience working with both high net worth and business clients
● An ability to explain legal concepts to clients, ensuring they understand their estate plan
● Client relation skills with a strong sense of empathy for client situations
● Ability to independently handle an estate planning file from consultation to closing
● A positive attitude and independence to manage their own day
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
● A business planning background
● An LLM degree
● Experience utilizing Wealth Counsel
