Responsibilities
- Document patient care and treatments in the electronic health record with accuracy and timeliness
- Function as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and providers; support the care team as needed
- Take vital signs, triage patient calls, and provide nursing guidance within scope of practice
- Assist providers with procedures; prepare and pass supplies and equipment while maintaining aseptic technique
- Refill prescriptions, complete prior authorizations, and coordinate scheduling for referrals
- Maintain organization of patient records, filing, and inventory of medical supplies
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Montana LPN license
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related healthcare technology
- Ability to work in a clinical outpatient care setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
