ROLE OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible to drive a tractor trailer combination pulling a pneumatic to deliver bulk cement products.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)
  1. Operates Commercial Vehicle in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and company safety policies.
  2. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
  3. Loads truck and delivers product to assigned destination.
  4. Assists workers and work independently in loading and unloading truck safely.
  5. Maintains driver log according to regulations.
  6. Drag hose and hook up to trailer.
  7. Monitor pressure while unloading.
  8. Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. A valid Class A CDL with air brakes and six months or more of commercial driving experience.
  3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
