As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. What’s in it for you: Set schedule: Full-Time, 3:00PM - 11:00PM & 11:00PM - 7:00AM Shifts Available Competitive hourly wage of $21.00 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard Respond to incoming security concerns and track outcomes Monitor a wide network of security alarms and cameras to identify and resolve threats Synthesize large amounts of information quickly Create comprehensive records of security-related incidents Coordinate routine and critical incident communications Understand the proper use of security related tools and procedures Escalate to supervisors when appropriate Implement security and access control procedures Basic Qualifications At least 3 years of experience with customer service At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the security field 1+ year of experience with emergency communication operations 1+ year of experience with situational awareness tools (ex: NC4, VCC) Ability to multitask and synthesize large amounts of information quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with news reporting sources, social media channels, as well as other channels for real-time monitoring of current events Geopolitical awareness, knowledge of global events, and cultural sensitivity It is the policy of GardaWorld Security Services to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, or disability in accordance with applicable federal laws.
