  • Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing issues.
  • Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to establish integrated care plans.
  • Provide guidance and educational resources to patients and their families to bolster progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Occasionally engage in inpatient speech therapy assessments and treatments, ensuring seamless care throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Keep meticulous and prompt documentation that aligns with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and collaboration with colleagues to stay at the forefront of professional practice.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.
Required Credentials
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
