Triad Mechanical Contractors is seeking a motivated and organized Shipping & Receiving Manager to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting field operations by managing warehouse logistics, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring materials and equipment are distributed efficiently to active job sites.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work in a fast-paced construction environment, communicate effectively with Project Managers and field personnel, and help keep projects running on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and logistics operations
• Coordinate material deliveries and distribution with Project Managers and field teams
• Dispatch delivery drivers and assist with daily scheduling/priorities
• Coordinate pickups from supply houses and vendors
• Track incoming and outgoing materials, tools, and equipment
• Maintain warehouse organization, inventory control, and cleanliness
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and logistics processes
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and supporting field operations as needed
• Ensure deliveries are accurate, timely, and job-ready

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or construction material management
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Mechanical/HVAC construction knowledge is a plus
