Skills and Requirements Experience building complex, but well architected, maintainable and testable web applications using Python and Django Experience with using an RDBMS as a primary data store while utilizing integrity constraints and transactions. (Ex: InnoDB MySQL, PostgreSQL) Capable of working with third party APIs in safe and failure tolerant ways. Experience with background queues such as Celery. Capable of working in a modern continuous integration development environment. Proficiency in modern version control practices is a must. We use github internally. We optimize our technology choices for releasing fast and often.
