Do you have a passion for helping students? Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for elementary school counselor positions that may become available within our division for the 2026 – 2027 school year.
Please note this is a "continuous recruit posting" to build an applicant pool for all schools. As positions become available, all qualified applicants with complete application files will be considered. Should a specific location/job be posted, you may also be required to apply to that posting.
The School Counselor will assist students with problems and decisions involved in understanding themselves and the world in which they live and will work. This individual will assist students in making decisions about their future schooling and occupational interests. They will also serve as a resource for parents/guardians, teachers, and other adults involved with the students.
Preference Given For:
FLSA: Exempt
Salary: $57,003.86 - $87,325.91 annually (Master's scale), with benefits; commensurate with experience
