Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant Join our team as a Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant and play a vital role in promoting maternal and infant health through expert breastfeeding support and education. In this role, you will develop and implement standards of care and guidelines to assist breastfeeding mothers across various departments, including Obstetrics, Childbirth Education, and Pediatric care. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient education and support breastfeeding initiatives, ensuring optimal health outcomes for mothers and infants. Required Skills: Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license Certification as a Lactation Consultant from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience within the last two years Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop educational materials and collaborate with healthcare teams Nice to Have Skills: Experience in maternal-child health or breastfeeding support programs Prior experience working in OB, Pediatrics, or Family Practice settings Skills in developing marketing or educational materials related to breastfeeding Preferred Education and Experience: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher Prior experience as a Lactation Consultant or in a similar role Other Requirements: Willingness to promote breastfeeding and participate in related programs Ability to work day shifts, typically between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Willingness to travel for training or outreach activities if necessary Valid and active RN license and relevant certifications must be maintained throughout employment This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $45.00, with a blended rate of $46.80 including paid federal holidays, along with comprehensive benefits such as weekly pay via direct deposit, medical, dental, vision, supplemental benefits, 401(k) with match, and a robust referral bonus program.
