Job Title: QA Test Engineer


Location: Silver Spring, MD (Hybrid - 1 day/week onsite, Wednesdays)


Long Term Contract: 9-12+ months (with extensions)


Rate: $60 - $67 / hour


Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

About the Role:


The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer owns the validation portion of the software development life cycle for all software products of the association. Products are developed using both Agile and legacy processes, and various process hybrids. As QA lead you will design, implement, and exercise all manual and automated tests for all products in integration, regression, and production environments.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Designs, implements, and maintains integration, regression, and User Acceptance test environments for all systems and products.
• Creates and maintains thorough test suites and plans for all products.
• Defines standards, methods, and procedures for test automation.
• Creates and performs all test execution.
• Participates in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospective.
• Provides UAT environments to stakeholder customers.
• Evaluates provided user acceptance tests for potential automation.


Required Experience:

  • 8+ year Quality Assurance and testing.
  • 5+ years test automation
  • 3+ years using Ranorex or similar test automation tools.
  • 3+ years Agile team QA participant
  • Solid understanding of a variety of processes of software development and quality assurance.
