  • Fact-check content and validate accuracy of product references, claims, terminology, and supporting information as needed.
  • Collaborate with writers, strategists, designers, project managers, and marketing communications teams to support the delivery of high-quality content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Crop Protection products, portfolios, and agricultural terminology to improve proofreading effectiveness and business understanding.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Proofreader within a high-volume marketing, communications, publishing, advertising, or corporate content environment.
  • Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and AP Style guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle inconsistencies across large volumes of content.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable reviewing content across multiple channels and formats, including digital, print, email, social, video, and web.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, PDF markup/commenting tools, and content review and workflow platforms including Optimizely or similar systems.
  • Ability to learn and apply evolving editorial, legal, regulatory, and brand standards.
  • General familiarity with the agriculture industry, including corn, soybeans, cereals, crop protection products, livestock, and specialty crop terminology.

Contract Position Details:

This is a contractor-based position expected to support the business approximately 20 hours per week. Candidates must maintain availability during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., to support collaboration, workflow coordination, and timely content reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting agriculture, agribusiness, life sciences, or regulated-industry communications.
  • Experience working within enterprise marketing workflows and fast-paced content environments.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel marketing campaigns and integrated communications.
