Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team in Heavy Duty Ag Manufacturing . The position of Heavy Duty Ag Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for operating machines in the work area to meet quality and production needs. This position will report to the Production Supervisor and is based at our Components location in Beatrice, Nebraska. It is extremely important this team member be aligned with Neapco’s Core Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and Diversity and Neapco’s Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives. Job Description: Production Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively set up and operate machines
  • Work from operational prints to set up machines.
  • Perform quality control inspections using various gauges and measuring devices applicable to the operation.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain acceptable tolerances.
  • Accurately complete frequency inspection forms.
  • SPC data collection as requires.
  • Troubleshoot and correct machine set up problems.
  • Identify and report machine, quality and/or tool problems to supervisor.
  • Maintain necessary written and electronic process/labor documentation.
  • Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the position.
  • Rotate tasks within the work group.
  • Work extra hours to maintain production needs.
  • Use of various hand tools.
  • Use of power equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Position requires basic math skills, excellent mechanical skills and an understanding of turning, broaching, drilling, and milling principles. Requires ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions, to read, understand and utilize shop prints, and work effectively with others, including production supervisor and quality department personnel. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Education

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalency. Vocational training helpful. Previous experience within the manufacturing environment and /or similar mechanical/production life experiences. CNC experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must possess physical dexterity and the ability to lift 40 pounds from the floor. Position may require repetitive activity involving the wrist, hands and fingers. May involve frequent bending, reaching, walking, and standing for long periods of time.

Job Description: Warehouse Attendant

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow written and oral work instructions to determine materials to be moved and location to which they are to be moved.
  • Load, unload and move materials, supplies and products within the plant, yard or warehouse.
  • Ship finished products.
  • Pick Parts for internal and external orders
  • Pack parts for internal and external orders
  • Transport loads using various moving devices.
  • Weigh materials and record information.
  • Monitor materials and products.
  • Receive inventory and goods.
  • Document location of parts and components.
  • Inventory materials.
  • Maintain proper operating distance between equipment and fixed objects, such as racks and machines while operating fork trucks.
  • Maintain proper operating speeds while in plant and warehouse while operating fork trucks.
  • Maintain area in a safe and clean environment.
  • Rotate tasks within the work group.
  • Work extra hours to maintain production needs if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Position requires the ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions, to work accurately with numerical records, and to schedule time effectively.
  • Requires effective interaction with company personnel, including supervisors and managers, as well as outside transportation firms.

Education

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalency preferred.
