At least 3-5 years' experience Microsoft Office Suite Basics
Advanced Excel Experience Including Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros, and Conditional Formatting
Creating data visualizations using Power BI
Using DAX formulas to create calculated columns in Power BI
Using Power Automate to write and/or transfer data
Creating/Using MS Forms to capture data or related software is preferable.
Experience in development using Red Hat OpenShift, Java, Angular, HTML, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps is a plus.
Experience in SQL
Summary Of The Function/Role
This position is to perform detailed spreadsheet analysis for the purpose of statistical decision making, and support Director Data Information and Analysis needs. The Security Data Analyst will directly log, analyze, code, transform, and visualize agency data using Microsoft Office 365 applications and other 3rd party database applications.
Responsibilities
Analyse sources of data for usable information
Input data from available sources into relevant fields
Code data into groups that provide insights
Transform data into actionable information
Maintain records as requested by Director Data Information and Analysis.
Analyse data to identify trends and notable changes
Develop visual representations of quantitative and qualitative data.
Develop dashboards that automatically represent key data
Ensures security of system and integrity of master documents by implementing document and system access rights and revision controls.
Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
Liaise with IT systems experts on hardware and software issues that affect the availability and accessibility of content management systems.
