Studio Coordinator & Operations Lead Voted #1 Best Extracurricular/Hobby Instruction in Bergen County (2026)
The Opportunity Ready to trade the corporate "Sunday Scaries" for a high-energy, creative community? School of Rock Waldwick is a Flagship Location and a cornerstone of the Northern NJ arts scene. We are seeking a mature, organized, and person-centered Studio Coordinator to lead our daily operations. If you have a background in hospitality, high-end retail, or office management and want to work alongside an amazing staff of professional musicians, this is your next move.
The Lifestyle & Benefits - Work-Life Balance: Enjoy your mornings! Our 2:00 PM start time is perfect for freelancers, musicians, or anyone who values personal time before the workday begins.
- Flagship Pride: Join the winning team at the "Gold Standard" location of a global brand.
- Creative Community: Work in a vibrant, inclusive "rockstar" atmosphere with elite professionals.
- Growth Path: This is a long-term career. We offer paid professional development and a clear trajectory toward General Management.
- Industry Perks: Access to proprietary SoR Method tools and significant employee discounts on music gear and programs.
- Stability: Direct deposit, Referral Programs, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
What Youll Do As the administrative focal point of the school, you bridge the gap between business operations and the client experience.
- Operations Leadership: Own the daily flow, managing complex scheduling for dozens of students and overseeing the "opening and closing" of our flagship facility.
- Client Relationships: Act as the "face" of the school, leading tours for new families and helping them navigate their journey from their first lesson to the stage.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Confidently pitch our programs and maintain the polished demeanor a premier Bergen County institution requires.
- Special Projects: Partner with the General Manager on marketing and provide onsite support for our high-energy seasonal shows.
What You Bring - Proven Professionalism: 2+ years in high-level customer service, front desk, or hospitality. You handle a busy lobby with grace.
- Self-Starter Mindset: You are proactive in improving school operations and take ownership of your space.
- Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Mac OS and Google Suite is essential.
- Passion for Impact: A genuine belief in the power of music and youth development.
- Local Connection: Must live in Northern NJ for a reliable commute to Waldwick.
Schedule - Monday - Thursday: 2:00 PM 9:00 PM
- Friday: 2:00 PM 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: Occasional availability for our student shows
