Special Education Teacher Openings – 4 Positions Available

Location: Ypsilanti
Schedule: Full-Time

We are currently seeking 4 dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school team in Ypsilanti. These full-time positions offer the opportunity to work with students across a variety of special education settings and make a meaningful impact on student growth and success.

Available Caseloads:
2 Elementary ASD/CI Classroom Openings
1 High School ASD Classroom Opening
1 Resource Room Opening

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Foster a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Special Education Teaching License required
• Must hold a valid Michigan CI (Cognitive Impairment) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) SPED endorsement/license
• Previous experience working with ASD and/or CI populations preferred
