Janitor

Advanced Employment Services, a division of the ARC of the Treasure Coast, is hiring a janitor for our office buildings in Stuart, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our office spaces, contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This position supports the mission of the ARC of the Treasure Coast by upholding a positive image of the organization and providing exceptional cleaning services.

Working Hours: Early Morning M-F 7AM-11AM

Responsibilities:

• Sweep and mop all floors, including vinyl and ceramic tile, and clean baseboards.
• Empty, clean, and reline waste baskets and sanitary containers.
• Sanitize restrooms, including urinals, toilets, sinks, and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in office and storage areas, including dusting and surface cleaning.
• Clean walls, windows, and light fixtures throughout the office.
• Pick up litter in and around the building grounds.
• Wipe down water faucets, light switches, benches, and bulletin boards in common areas.
• Ensure proper safety procedures are followed, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning.
• Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a clean environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
