Job Title Manager, Pharmacovigilance Alliance Contracting Locations Raritan, New Jersey; Horsham, Pennsylvania; (other locations may also be available) Overview Leads the negotiation, contractual management, and operational maintenance of Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs) for J&J Innovative Medicine in collaboration with functional lines and legal teams. Responsibilities Lead the PVA and new business integration/divestment process, monitoring alliance contracts and escalating issues. Own the end‑to‑end development, execution, maintenance, and termination of PVAs and related deliverables. Set tactical approaches and drive operational plans for PVA negotiation and execution. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including technology‑enabled transformation and data‑driven enhancements. Define and champion fit‑for‑purpose governance, standards, and enablement for PVA tools. Manage group workflow tracking and related tools. Track due diligence responsibilities for acquisitions, alliances, and divestitures on behalf of OCMO. Participate in due diligence efforts and evaluate pharmacovigilance components of licensing opportunities. Flag emerging issues in licensing relationships and maintain proactive communication with teams. Escalate issues and apply judgment to sustain alliances with minimal resources. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Medical, Business, or Legal preferred). Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; 3 years of pharmacovigilance experience. Proven experience in group facilitation and program management. Proficiency with contract language and commercial contract terms. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, coordination, presentation, writing, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and computer skills. Preferred Master’s degree. Applied knowledge of PV regulations (e.g., HIPAA, EU PV legislation, Code of Federal Regulations). Experience in a drug safety organization with operational responsibilities. Experience with technology platforms such as PowerApps, AI‑enabled solutions. Benefits & Compensation Base salary: $117,000 – $201,500 (US). Eligible for annual performance bonus and long‑term incentive program. Includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
