ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the site coordinator Plan and implement instruction/counseling to maintain student skills, behaviors, and information per IEP goals Supervise paraprofessionals Coordinate related service support Assess and communicate progress with teachers and service providers Prepare written progress reports at program conclusion Qualifications – Required Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure as a school counselor or psychologist Qualifications – Preferred Experience working with students with emotional and/or behavioral needs Schedule July 6, 2026 – July 30, 2026 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday – Thursday All staff report for a full day on July 6th for orientation and classroom set‑up; students begin on July 7th Additional 30 minutes per day for planning Teachers will submit hours on their timesheet for an additional 5.5 hours between July 10th and August 12th for writing student progress reports Contact Mark Marfione – Mark_marfione@psbma.org The Public Schools of Brookline is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
