Job Description

CSP has exclusively partnered with a food service company in their search for an HR Director. The HR Director provides comprehensive HR leadership across multiple business units and employee groups. This role oversees core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement. The position is highly hands-on and supports both operational and corporate environments across onsite and remote teams. This role will be on-site five days a week in Halethorpe, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and workforce planning across multiple functions and locations
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs, including compliance and leadership training
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy administration
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Support compensation planning, wage administration, and market benchmarking
  • Administer employee benefits programs and partner with vendors and employees as needed
  • Support payroll processes, wage compliance, and job classification reviews
  • Assist with workplace safety initiatives, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of HR and management experience supporting diverse employee populations
  • Experience in multi-site, operational, manufacturing, or similar environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations
  • Experience with compensation, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to support both onsite and remote employees
  • Occasional travel required
