REACH Medical Holdings, operating as REACH Air Medical Services, is seeking an experienced Helicopter Pilot to support our air medical operations within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry and the Transportation & Logistics department. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of critically ill and injured patients, medical teams, and essential equipment using rotor-wing aircraft. You will work closely with flight nurses, paramedics, communications specialists, and hospital partners to ensure rapid response and high-quality emergency care. As a Helicopter Pilot with REACH Air, you will operate company helicopters in accordance with all FAA regulations, REACH policies, and industry best practices, always prioritizing safety and risk management. You will conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, assess weather and terrain conditions, determine fuel requirements, and plan flight routes that support rapid medical response while maintaining the highest safety margins. During flights, you will maintain clear, concise communication with dispatch, medical crews, ground teams, and air traffic control to coordinate arrivals, departures, and mission updates. You will be part of a high-performance, safety-first culture where sound judgment, situational awareness, and teamwork are essential. REACH Air emphasizes a supportive work environment in which pilots collaborate closely with medical crews to balance clinical urgency with operational safety. You will participate in ongoing safety briefings, training sessions, and simulation exercises, and you will be expected to contribute to our culture of continuous improvement through accurate documentation, incident reporting, and adherence to safety management systems. Key aspects of this position include responding to scene calls, interfacility transfers, and specialized medical missions, often in time-sensitive and challenging environments. You will be prepared to launch rapidly when requested, maintaining readiness through regular aircraft checks, personal currency, and thorough understanding of local operating areas. You will manage in-flight decision-making related to changing weather, patient needs, and operational constraints, ensuring that every flight reflects REACH’s commitment to patient care, professionalism, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an experienced rotor-wing pilot with substantial helicopter air ambulance (HAA) or EMS experience, strong instrument and night-flying skills, and confidence operating in diverse terrain and weather conditions. You should be comfortable operating under pressure, collaborating closely with clinical teams, and engaging respectfully with partner facilities and public safety agencies. This is typically a full-time position with a rotating schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. In addition to competitive compensation, REACH Medical Holdings offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for ongoing training, advancement, and professional growth within a mission-driven organization. If you are a safety-focused Helicopter Pilot who wants to make a direct impact on patient outcomes and work within a supportive, team-oriented environment, we invite you to consider joining REACH Air Medical Services.
