Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• We require strong experience building backend services and APIs.
• We are looking for solid proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern web development practices.
• We require experience with Node.js, Python, or comparable backend technologies.
• We need hands-on AWS experience, especially with Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch Logs, and compute services.
• We require experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• We need a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and cloud security best practices.
• We require experience working with databases, cloud storage, and backend data models.
• We need the ability to troubleshoot backend issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• We require experience using Git and GitHub in collaborative development workflows.
• We value strong problem-solving ability and a high-ownership mindset.
• We need the ability to move quickly while still preserving quality and reliability.
• A bachelors degree is required.
• We prefer at least 3 years of software development experience.

• We develop and maintain backend services for web and mobile applications.
• We design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• We work with AWS services, including Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch Logs, and related compute offerings.
• We build authentication, authorization, and user account systems using AWS Cognito.
• We create scalable serverless workflows and backend processes.
• We manage cloud storage, database access, and backend data flows.
• We monitor application performance, logs, errors, and system reliability using CloudWatch and similar tools.
• We support Google Cloud and Google platform integrations when needed.
• We collaborate with frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other engineers.
• We troubleshoot production incidents and strengthen system stability.
• We follow security best practices for APIs, user data, authentication, and cloud infrastructure.
• We write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• We participate in code reviews and help raise engineering standards.
