Overview The Dog Wizard Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Balanced Dog Trainer to join our established, professional training team. This role is best suited for a confident trainer who is equally skilled working with dogs and their owners, and who values teamwork, consistency, and results. Responsibilities Train dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Handle cases including: Basic and advanced obedience. off-leash reliability. Reactivity, aggression, fear, and anxiety. Separation anxiety and behavior modification. Educate and coach clients (human training is a major component of this role). Work collaboratively with a tight-knit team of experienced trainers. Uphold company training standards and customer service expectations. Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional dog training experience. strong experience with balanced training methods and tools. Comfortable working with challenging behavior cases. excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team-oriented, reliable, and professional. Ability to work 6 days per week with some control and flexibility over scheduling. Compensation & Benefits Above-average pay for dog trainers. Salary plus commission structure.
