Competitive Salary: $50,000–$60,000 + Benefits Location: Miami, FL Travel: Approximately 25% (out-of-state project travel) We're looking for an experienced Environmental Technician who enjoys being in the field, takes pride in collecting high-quality environmental data, and wants to be part of a respected, growing environmental consulting firm. As an Environmental Technician, you'll support a variety of environmental assessment and investigation projects throughout Florida and across the United States. Responsibilities include: Perform groundwater monitoring and groundwater sampling Collect soil samples in accordance with project specifications Assist with soil boring investigations Install, inspect, and sample monitoring wells Support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments Assist with Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and subsurface investigations Document field activities with detailed notes, photographs, and chain-of-custody documentation Operate and maintain environmental field equipment Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure field activities are completed safely and efficiently Follow company QA/QC procedures and health & safety protocols Required Qualifications: 3+ years of environmental field experience Hands-on experience with: Groundwater monitoring wells Groundwater sampling Soil boring investigations Soil sampling Experience supporting Phase I and/or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Strong understanding of proper sampling procedures and environmental field documentation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding field work Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (or ability to obtain) Knowledge of ASTM environmental due diligence standards Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
