Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Electrician Helpers to support our electrical installation on a local commercial construction site. This role involves assisting licensed electricians in executing electrical projects efficiently, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess foundational electrical knowledge, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Support the setup and operation of power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to aid in project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere strictly to all safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage, and construction site operations.
• Support the team in completing projects on time by following detailed instructions from senior electricians.
• Have your own set of tools - needle nose pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multi meter

Experience

• Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice is preferred but not mandatory; relevant construction site experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with commercial electrical systems enhances performance in this role.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters is essential.
• Understanding of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading is desirable.
• Experience working with high voltage or low voltage systems on construction or industrial sites is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards ensures adherence to safety regulations during project execution.
