Job Description

• Collaborate with Information Architecture and Business Analysis teams in formulation of requirements for data across all product lines
• Develop appropriate data requirements documentation in line with SDLC framework including Data Requirements, Logical mappings and Canonical mapping (If required).
• Develop data flow, application and ER diagrams and technical specifications Implement tools, scripts, queries or applications for accessing and analyzing data and associated metadata.
• Attend fact-gathering sessions (when applicable), analyze and solve problems with some assistance
• Understand and analyze project requirements
• Understand if any impact on existing design and ask respective clarification to BA / SA
• Diving into databases and solving complex problems using SQL to learn the Property and Casualty business.
• Come up with Logical/Physical design for new requirements
• Understand Business reporting data needs (Aggregated & Hierarchical data & etc ...) and support reporting team needs.
• Review with Data architect, DBA to align on physical design
• Make sure Data Model changes are designed as per the Enterprise Data Standard with appropriate Naming standards
• Generate DDLs (as applicable, in some cases engineers generate DDLs)
• Migrate the same to other environments like Other Development, User test, Staging etc. using Urban code.
• Strong communications skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate effectively with various levels and roles across both business and IT.Experience of working in Global Delivery Model would be preferred
