Position Summary SunEnergy1 is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to support construction activities on commercial and utility-scale solar projects. This role requires frequent travel to project sites and involves hands-on carpentry work including framing, formwork, structural modifications, and general construction support. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Key Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry work on solar and construction sites Construct and install framing, forms, supports, and temporary structures Build and dismantle concrete formwork and assist with pours Interpret blueprints, drawings, and site plans Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Support site preparation and structural modifications as required Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Travel to project sites nationwide as needed Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews Qualifications 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience Experience in commercial or utility-scale construction preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75–100%) Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Solar construction experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Travel per diem (when applicable) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Opportunities for growth within a fast-growing renewable energy company Employment Type: Full Time Bonus/Commission: No
