BankingOperations Specialist

Position Summary:

This position reports to the Banking Operations &Systems Director and Assistant Manager and is responsible for performing dutiestoo varied and diverse to be classified in any specific support occupation. Position may require learning new systems asentry and second level support, answering phones, filing and copying andperforming Banking Operations functions as needed. Training may be required asit pertains to your job duties. Occasional use of personal vehicle may berequired.

Essential Functions:
Assist in all areas of Banking Operationsincluding but not limited to, maintenance, scanning, verifying, accountdocumentation review, and lockbox.


Review all incoming documentation for accuracy, completeness, andadherence to policy.

Provide telephone and email support tocustomers (internal and external) regarding Banking Operations systems and products including, but not limited to, Remote Deposit Capture, online banking,debit cards.

Answer customer inquiries via phone andemail.


Processor backup daily chargebacks, un-posteds, overdrafts, exceptions, etc.
Assistin all areas of customer support, customer identification and authorization,policy adherence, and general support.
Reviewsystem reports for accuracy, various verification, and dual control purposes.
Performdata entry.
Operateoffice equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, and phone systems,and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, andother applications.
Learnto operate new technologies as they are developed and implemented.
Assistin creating and updating procedures as it pertains to your job duties. Abilityto apply practical judgement and understanding to carry out detailed writtenand oral instructions.
Abilityto interact and communicate with other team members and customers efficiently.
Allother duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

The work for this position isconducted in a back office of our bank and the requirement for travel islimited. Travel for training may berequired from time to time. This positioncould require overtime depending on workload, which first must be requestedand approved by management.


Experience and Education:

High School Diploma (or GED or High SchoolEquivalence Certificate); Minimum 1 year work experience; prior bankingexperience preferred.
