Air TechnicianOne Way Safety, a Paradigm HSE company, is hiring an Air Technician! Join our team in La Grange, Illinois and build a career maintaining and servicing high- and low-pressure breathing air equipment.Key Responsibilities & DutiesEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high and low-pressure breathing air equipment (regulators, airlines, reducers, manifolds, air packs, cascade systems, air trailers, and air compressors).Documentation: Process and manage all customer-related paperwork accurately following equipment inspections and servicing.Educational RequirementsHigh School Graduate or GED equivalent.Experience & Certifications1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Comprehensive training will be provided.OSHA 10 Certification is required.Experience working in a plant or refinery environment is preferred (especially within the chemical or oil & gas sectors), but not required.Key Skills & Workplace CompetenciesMeticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Clear and effective verbal communication skills.A proactive, positive "Yes" attitude with a commitment to strict compliance with all company policies and safety procedures.Screening RequirementsAbility to pass a mandatory Drug & Alcohol Test and comprehensive background screening.Clean driving record accompanied by a valid Driver's License or State ID.Work Environment & Physical DemandsHeavy Lifting: Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds to chest level, and lift/move up to 10 pounds above head height.Stamina & Agility: Able to stand for undetermined amount of time.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
