Perform cleaning in an efficient and effective manner. Schedule time to perform all cleaning necessary in designated area without direct supervision. Work effectively in a team atmosphere. Maintain a positive attitude. Develop and maintain excellent rapport with the public, staff, and students. Ability to read and understand product labeling. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies. Assist in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow, lawn, landscaping beds, etc.). Clean and preserve designated spaces, equipment etc. in the building as assigned by the supervisor. Restock disposable items and provide lead custodian with inventory usage and data. Assist the visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within buildings and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment. Maintain building and grounds security in the building each school day. Identify and report uncleaned areas and safety concerns. Assist coworkers as needed. Report work-related problems to lead custodian or custodial/maintenance director. Additional duties as assigned.
